Due to a flood of spammer registrations the registration module of this forum is now disabeled.

Update 16 Oct. 2018:
Registering can be done by seding an e-mail to minisailwebmaster (at) gmail.com.
Include some words to help me identify you as a genuine person and mention the username you prefer.

It's for the time being I hope, a closed private forum makes no sense I know.
Mind, this tool was originally intended to get the 2017 Nationals on rails. Now almost a year later it has become a magnet for all kinds of pirates.

Probably time to think about an alternative.

Go back to google groups, traffic on website doesn't justify all the work involved in running own forum.

Well dispite it's limitations Google Groups never failed us. It just keeps on going without any trouble, very right.
At least it's a stable platform for the few of us not very fond of FB.
No need to mention FB has more or less taken over the role?
Hardly no -if any- in depth info there but it's alive.

For now this page will remain active for and with the existing members. For those who like there is the Gougle Groups Minisail Forum.

Good plan, lock this forum to existing members for the moment, use it for a technical repository, any new members can be reffered to here with a link on google group.

And far as I understand, this forum can still be consulted for information and by having a 'sticky' (highlighted thread) with instructions as how genuine people can contact us we are covering all bases.
I recently posted a link to this forum on our FB page as there are a couple of American sailors looking for technical information and not getting much help.

It's far from ideal but yes this forum is now read only, except for the 12 genuine members.
Any question / request / proposal can be adressed to minisailwebmaster{at}gmail.com

The rise of facebook groups has a huge impact on forums. This one looked already in sleep-mode months before it got a magnet for spammers.
It surprises me that with the volume of traffic they (FB) get, the people looking for technical information are not getting much help.

Ronny,
Great to see Steve following in your footsteps with such a fine account of his rebuild.
Still hoping to go to Huntingdon nest weekend and Ostend in June, with David it seems, but lots of details to sort out, not least cheapest way to travel with 2 boats on a trailer. Can't login to the new page so I must message Steve.
Hope all is well with you and Marijke ( spelling ).
Best wishes, Tom
